In general, you should take any and all measurements with a grain of salt, because none are perfect. I think losing 0.5-1.5lb per week is a good goal. If you lose more, then great, but don’t get discouraged if you lose less. I was going to say — when I used to run cross country in high school I was 8-9 and my goal right now is to hit 10 and stay there.
